Complaint - Breach of Code of Conduct

To assess any complaints received to date.

 

The report of the Monitoring Officer and all relevant information will be circulated at the meeting.

Minutes:

Members considered a report of the Director of Legal and Governance Services, which set out details of a complaint that a Member had failed or may have failed to comply with the Authority’s Code of Conduct, and independent advice obtained in relation to the complaint.

 

The Sub-Committee having fully considered and discussed the report, with each Member setting out their individual thoughts on its contents.

 

RESOLVED:  That (1) the allegation be referred to the Monitoring Officer and he write to the Member concerning the breach and to remind him of the requirement to complete his Register of Interest Form accurately.

 

(2)  the Monitoring Officer write to all Members of the Council to remind them of their responsibilities in respect of the completion of Registers of Interest forms.
