MINUTE SILENCE Minutes: Members of Council stood and observed a minute silence in memory of those killed and injured during the recent atrocities in London.
The Mayor invited Councillor Jean Lammiman to pay tribute James MacMullan, a former pupil of Nower Hill High School and friend of her son, who had died in the attack. |

PETITION - ONE SITE SOLUTION FOR PINNER WOOD SCHOOL A petition containing over 2,000 signatures has been received and has the attached terms of reference.
A representative of the petitioners will read the terms of the petition on behalf of the petition signatories. There is a period of one minute allocated to present. A period of ten minutes is permitted for Members to debate the Petition terms and issues.
Following discussion the Council may choose to refer the petition to the Cabinet, a Committee or Corporate Director to consider the matter, taking into account the views expressed by Council. Additional documents: Minutes: In accordance with the Council’s Petition Scheme, Council received a petition containing over 2,000 signatures in relation to Pinner Wood School.
The Mayor indicated that she would allow the lead petitioner, Jenny McCann, to make a statement on behalf of the parents of Pinner Wood School rather than present the petition as the outcome sought had been achieved.
RESOLVED: That the petition be noted. |

REQUISITION SUBMITTED BY ELECTED MEMBERS - PINNER WOOD SCHOOL The requisition is attached. Additional documents: Minutes: The requisition submitted by seven elected Members in relation to Pinner Wood School was debated.
The Mayor advised Council that a report on Pinner Wood School was due to be considered by Cabinet on 15 June 2017.
RESOLVED: That requisition in relation to Pinner Wood School be received and noted. |
