Notification of decision following a licensing panel hearing to determine an application for a premises licence

THAT following a hearing before the Licensing and General Purposes Sub Committee ( “the Licensing Panel” or “Panel”)
ON 28 May 2024
HARROW COUNCIL, as the Licensing Authority for the premises
RESOLVED
TO GRANT THE PREMISES LICENCE SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING:

Conditions
Conditions agreed with the Metropolitan Police will be applied to the licence, as well as conditions proposed by the Applicant in its application and conditions that will be extrapolated from the Applicant’s operating schedule for the Applicant’s other Premises licence LN/000016950/2023/1 (adjusted with regard to the extended opening hours and hours for the provision of late night refreshment).
As a consequence, the following conditions will be added to the licence:
- A digital CCTV system shall be installed and operated throughout the restaurant dining area, drive thru, car park and any areas open to members of the public. - The head unit (recorder) for storing CCTV images shall be located ina secure cabinet or other secure area out of the sight and access of the public. - The CCTV system to be maintained and operated in good order and to the satisfaction of the Metropolitan Police reasonable requests. The medium upon which the images are recorded will be clearly identifiable, stored securely and retained for a period of not less than 31 days. Footage and screenshots shall be made available to the Police and Licensing Authority Officers immediately upon request in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. - Such footage mustbe provided in an immediately viewable format and shall include any software required to view footage. Any discs, portable drives or other storage media onto which the footage is transferred must be provided by the Premises. - A member of staff who is trained to operate the system and supply the footage shall be present at the Premises at all times when licensable activities are taking place. - Signage shall be displayed throughout the restaurant and drive thru facility warning that CCTV is in operation for the detection and prevention of ... view the full minutes text for item 23. |
