Appointment of the Director of Adult Social Services

Upon the interview of the shortlisted candidates, to consider making an appointment to the post of Director of Adult Social Services subject to there being no material or well-founded objections.

Minutes:

RESOLVED (unanimously):  That the post of Strategic Director of Adults and Public Health (Director of Adult Social Services) be offered to James Mass, who is currently the Director of Adult Social Care, at the London Borough of Barnet, on a salary of £145,575 (D3 point 5) in accordance with the terms and conditions governing Chief Officer posts and subject to there being no ‘material and well-founded objections’ from members of the Executive.
