The following declarations of interest were made:

 

Councillors David Ashton, Susan Hall, Christopher Noyce, Philip O’Dell and Bill Stephenson each declared an interest in that they knew one of the candidates as an employee of the Council.

Appointment of Corporate Director Community & Environment

Upon interview of short-listed candidates to consider making an appointment to the post of Corporate Director Community & Environment. (Detailed supporting documentation for this meeting’s proceedings will be circulated under separate cover)

 

FOR CONSIDERATION

Minutes:

The meeting received a report from Tribal Recruitment Consultants on 4 applications submitted by candidates for the post of Corporate Director of Community & Environment.

 

The Panel then interviewed the four short-listed candidates and received reports on each candidate from interviews undertaken by a Panel of representatives from the Harrow Strategic Partnership.

 

RESOLVED:  That Mr Brendon Hills be appointed to the post of Corporate Director of Community & Environment of the London Borough of Harrow, with effect from a date to be determined and in accordance with the terms and conditions governing Chief Officer posts, other than as now determined.
