Appointment of Chair

To appoint a Chair for the purposes of this meeting.

RESOLVED: That Ms Dawne Cooper be appointed as Chair of the Panel for the purposes of this meeting.

Arrangement of Agenda

To agree that the reports listed under Item 5 of the agenda be considered with the press and public excluded on the grounds the reports contain exempt information, as defined in Paragraph 4 of Part 1 to Schedule 12A of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, relating to the adoption, care, fostering or education of a particular child.

This item was considered to contain exempt information as defined in Paragraph 4 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1985 in that it contained information relating to a particular applicant for, or recipient of, a Service provided by the Authority.

To note the terms of reference as set out below:

 

“In accordance with procedures and guidance given under the Children Act 1989 and the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990, and when requested to do so by a dissatisfied complainant, to review decisions made relating to complaints.”
